London G. Zorita, CLPF
London G. Zorita is a licensed Private Professional Fiduciary and has spent over 12 years under the mentorship of Aileen Federizo, founder of ElderWell. What started as a simple position managing the office of an up and coming professional fiduciary quickly became the catalyst of a newfound, lifelong passion of learning the dynamic and intricate world of probate and helping those in need.
Ms. Zorita has learned the numerous aspects of fiduciary management from conservatorships to trusts to probate administration and beyond through hands-on work experience. She specializes in fiduciary accountings and asset management. She has served as both Trustee and Conservator on probate matters in both Los Angeles and Orange County.
Ms. Zorita started in the ElderWell office as Aileen’s first employee. At the time, ElderWell had a handful of cases that would now be considered “simple” to manage. At this stage, she was able to learn the basics, while implementing a filing system and bookkeeping protocol that ElderWell still uses today. As ElderWell brought in more clients, she was drawn to the case management and financial complexities that each client brought with it. As the clients became more complex, so did her understanding of how all the parts affect one another. From this understanding, she was able to identify and implement many of the organizational tools and quality controls that ElderWell continues to use on its most complicated matters.
From direct, hands-on experience through the years, her specialties include:
- Investments - working directly with financial advisors on hundreds of investment accounts
- Real property management - working with property managers and realtors on dozens of properties
- Business management - working on numerous LLCs related to a wide variety of industries from bakeries to motorcycle parts
- Taxes - working closely with CPAs to file individual, fiduciary, business, and estate tax returns as well as working with professionals on advanced tax planning strategies
- Fiduciary accountings, forensic accountings and review and analysis of prior fiduciary accountings
Prior to her time at ElderWell, she earned a BS in Business Administration with an option in Business Law from California State University, Northridge. She then gained experience in finance and operations at a small travel agency, person to person experience in direct sales and life experience as an Auxiliar de Conversacion, teaching English in elementary schools in Spain. After returning stateside, she began her career at ElderWell and soon decided to pursue further education in the field. She then received a professional certificate in Fiduciary Management from University of California Riverside Extension and then went on to get licensed with the Professional Fiduciary Bureau of California.
Ms. Zorita has been a partner of ElderWell LLC since January 2022.
